About

College is the best four years of your life. Socially, it is a time to experience new things, make lifelong friends, create lasting memories, gain leadership experience, and grow as an individual. Alpha Epsilon Pi accomplishes these, while maintaining brothers' academic excellence, far above all other national fraternities.

The goal of our fraternity is to help  student to develop character, learn responsibility, and develop a proper set of values. AEPi was founded on five pillars, brothers live by and respect these each day: honesty, perseverance, mutual helpfulness, faith, and humility. AEPi prepares young men for their role in life as responsible citizens.

Our history stems from young Jewish collegiate men banding together in allegiance. In 1913, Jewish men at New York University founded this brotherhood; the fraternity developed and grew, becoming a home away from home, providing similar Jewish beliefs and values as their family. Armed with these values, AEPi faced changing conditions on the college campus and survived.

Today, Jewish students search out AEPi because it is a Jewish fraternity. In the fraternity's 99-year history, over 93,000 men have worn the badge of AEPi and each year, over 2,500 undergraduates perform the Ritual of Initiation, which remains the same ritual adopted decades ago.
